More than just a Swimming Club!
During the course of the year the club runs a number of activities which it is hoped that everyone in the club can get involved in and enjoy!
A few of examples so far this year have been our 30th year celebration which consisted of a fun slash swim at the Spectrum Guildford, followed by ten pin bowling. This a well attended and successful event with an open invitation to everyone on the club.
In July on each year (Saturday July 22nd - this year) the club holds it's very special end of season Blues & Yellows Gala & Summer BBQ. This is a fun Gala with the club swimmers being split into two teams. Whilst the swimming is taking place the food is being prepared outside for what turns out to be some very hungry swimmers, parents and officials.
Also throughout the year Claire Newman has done a magnificent job in organising our squad outings. Each squad has had or will have the opportunity to spend sometime at a locally run activity (not swimming!)
